Choose the right paddle rack

What to think about when choosing the racket?

The shape of the racket

Round shape: For most players, regardless of level, it is easier to play with a round rack. This shape on the rack head means that the so -called "sweet spot" is located in the center of the racket head. A racket with around the rack head is often called a control rack.

Diamond shape: A diamond shaped racket has its sweet spot a little higher up, which gives an extra "kick" if you have a good smash. The diamond shape is best suited for advanced players.

Drip shape: Drip shape (also called pear or hybrid form) is a mixture between round and diamond shape. The drip shape is suitable for both medium and advanced players.

Weight: Most rackets for adult players weigh about 370-380 g and have a framewidth of 38 mm. Many players use unnecessarily heavy or misbalanced rackets.

Balance: Balance refers to the area of the rack head where the balance point is located. The balance can be high, that is, near the top of the rack head, medium or low. The closer the grip the balance point lies, the easier the rack head is experienced. A racket that is top heavy will feel heavier to swing. Often, top heavy rackets are considered to be more offensive and provide more power compared to control, as they give more weight to a smash. Diamond shaped rackets are generally top tongue, while round racks have a low center of gravity. Drop -shaped rackets are usually medium -balanced.

Material: The frame of paddle rackets is almost always made of carbon fiber for extra durability. The core consists of a foam -like material, Eva or Foam. Most of today's rackets use Eva, as Eva has better memory properties and is more sustainable.

Choose the correct shoe size

What to think about when choosing shoes?

Follow our simple instructions below to find the right size. Measure your feet in the afternoon for best fit.

  1. Stand on a piece of paper and let the heel rub a wall.
  2. Mark where your longest toe ends on the paper and measuring from the wall to the mark.
  3. Do the same for your second foot.
  4. Compare the dimensions with the size tables available as a product image for each product. The cm dimensions in the tables indicate the shoe's inner dimensions.

Choose the right floor club

Which idea should I choose?

Left clubs and leaves (left) are for players who hold the left hand at the bottom of the grip. Right clubs and leaves (right) are for players who hold the right hand at the bottom of the grip.

Which flex should I choose?

Flex on a floor club means the stiffness of the shaft. A low flex (for example 23 mm) means a stiff and hard shaft while a high flex (for example 32 mm) means a softer and less stiff shaft.

A harder shaft is suitable for men's players who use a lot of their weight when shooting, resulting in a harder and more precise shot. A softer shaft is suitable for players who do not use as much weight when shooting.

Regarding ball control, a softer flex often means an increased ball control.

Which leaf should I choose?

The leaves are also made in different hardness and just as for the shaft, a harder leaf gives a harder shot while a softer blade gives you more feel and ball control.

Which club length should I choose?

A rule of thumb is that the club should suffice just above the navel. You can also use our filter when choosing a floor club to fill in your length and player type to get suggestions on suitable clubs. Below you will find our club guide with standard dimensions and recommendations.
